Flood Alleviation Scheme wins two awards21 June 2013
Congratulations to the Banbury Flood Alleviation Scheme which has won two prestigious industry awards from the Institution of Civil Engineers South East England branch and Constructing Excellence (South East) for Environmental Engineering and Innovation.
The £18m Environment Agency scheme now protects 440 residential homes and 70 businesses from flooding with the largest ever constructed flood reservoir in Thames Valley. The project team are now working with the local authority to deliver a 31 hectare Country Park for the benefit of the local community.
CPC provided project management services to the Environment Agency to oversee the final approvals process and manage construction on site.
