Site Appraisal - Bethlem Royal Hospital

Project Overview
The estate’s Master Planning process in the NHS is a response to the questions. Where are we now? Where do we want to be? How do we get there? The purpose of the site appraisal was to gather together all the essential and relevant estate information on the Royal Bethlem site to answer the first question: where are we now? This information will provide a firm foundation for capital investment and enable a rapid response to demands on the estate from the changing organisation.
To complete the site appraisal CPC formed an internal team of consultants to meet the projects planning and site appraisal requirements.
CPC’s Role
To undertake a data collection exercise of all relevant site wide information regarding planning history and current estate condition. Conduct a site wide survey of all properties to ascertain current condition and status of the buildings with respect to the current NHS estate code and deliver a site appraisal report.
