Quantity Surveying
Quantity Surveying is the planning and control of expenditure in the construction industry and we would emphasise our commitment to this basic concept and in providing effective means of accounting for it.

We see no benefit to our Clients in simply "cost reporting" expenditure after it has been incurred and when it is very often too late for corrective action to be taken.

Furthermore as Quantity Surveyors we see our role as positive and pro-active, co-operating with all other members of the team and where necessary making properly considered proposals for alternative materials and design solutions consistent with performance requirements and aesthetic considerations.

The size and type of project with which we are regularly involved ranges from maintenance contracts to comprehensive multi-million pound developments, from housing to town centre redevelopments.

Appraisal and Monitoring Service
We are able to offer prospective Clients and/or their funders the comfort of a full appraisal and monitoring service to assess and control the risks attached to property development.

The service is offered for the entire development process from initiation, evaluation and acquisition through design and costing, permissions, commitment and implementation to the final letting, management or disposal of the property.

Over reliance by funders on the security of the property value can be prevented by proper appraisal and monitoring to avoid time and cost over-runs or inappropriate initial assumptions of viability.
