As part of the County’s Local Plan 2031 and ambitious Housing Growth Deal (HGD), the A40 corridor in Oxfordshire has been identified as requiring significant upgrade works. The Council has embarked on a circa £180m programme of multi-modal transport improvement projects to roads, rail, bridges, cycling, park & ride routes, bus lanes and pedestrian walkways.

CPC is providing a team of experienced consultants to lead the programme of works.  We have been working with the Council from the outset to build a robust programme, strong governance and effective control systems to manage the various workstreams.  The schemes are funded by Homes England’s Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF2), the Local Government Fund (LGF) and private developers.
