Lambeth Council

Housing Estate Regeneration

The London Borough of Lambeth are building new homes that will renew their largest estates and maintain the mixed communities reflective of the borough’s diverse population. These homes will be delivered through a combination of initiatives, including estate regeneration and small sites development.

CPC is providing project, development and commercial management services in order to deliver three of the Council’s mixed tenure estate regeneration schemes:

  • South Lambeth Estate – replacement of 101 existing flats with 362 new build homes
  • Westbury Estate – replacement of 82 existing flats with 334 new build homes
  • Knight’s Walk – replacement of 18 existing properties with 84 new build homes

The largest of these schemes, the South Lambeth Estate Regeneration consists of 362 mixed tenure homes (261 new and 101 replacement units). The total site area is approximately 2ha which will be redeveloped over three phases, with the demolition of five low rise blocks and the construction of 362 new homes.  The scheme will also provide a range of public open spaces along with commercial and community uses.
